People ask me all the time for detailed info on where I’m buying what… here it is!! Voting with your dollar doesn’t have to cost anything extra or be a huge hassle. In fact, it can be the opposite! This is not a conclusive list for all possible good brands you could purchase through. If you’d like more options, checkout my social media (links on the bottom of the page), especially the highlights and Thursday Q+A on instagram.
To start, I buy the following through the Patriot Wellness Store. I save all of my favorite items to a shopping list within the app, and then each month I just run down the list and click “add to cart” on what we need.
- All of our Laundry, Dish Soap and Cleaning needs–I buy a pack of the multipurpose cleaning wipes once a month for around the house and a pack or the disinfecting wipes to keep for last minute bathroom wipes in case company walks in. We get laundry stuff, dish soap and toilet bowl gel every month or two, and then the other cleaners, stain removers, fabric refresh, etc. are so concentrated we only need to replace those 1-2x/year!
- Candles
- Coffee
- Almost all bath needs–shampoo, conditioner, kids wash, shower gel, bar soap, shaving cream, bath bombs, shower steamers, hair styling products, hair treatments, lotions, deoderant, etc. Razor replacements come from Patriot Shave. I get toilet paper from BumRoll.
- Toothpaste and mouth rinse – we get this from the Patriot Wellness Store. We get floss and toothbrushes from Radius.
- Skincare
- Makeup, makeup remover, and brushes.
- Perfume and Cologne
- Protein
- Our whole family’s vitamins, supplements, collagen, magnesium, electrolytes, gut health drinks and probiotics. I mix the magnesium and electrolytes into a large pitcher and keep it in the fridge for my kids, and I mix the magnesium, electrolytes and collagen into a large tumbler everyday for me!
- Essential Oils – I typically buy 1 of these a month so that I’m constantly building my holistic medicine cabinet. We love lavender (especially added into kids’ night-time baths), frankincense (it’s helped heal many of our scars), and diffusing a variety of them. My current favorite blend to diffuse in the house is a couple drops each of lime, geranium, orange, grapefruit, and cypress. Our diffuser is also from the Patriot Wellness Store, and I get coconut oil and empty rollers as needed from here too.
- Over the Counter Meds, Cough Drops and Band-Aids.
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- We get baby wipes, soap and training toothpaste through the Patriot Wellness Store. Our diapers and training pants come from Bambo Nature. For baby formula, I’d go with Mt. Capra, HiPP, Baby’s Only or Holle.
- I get nail polish and cuticle oil from the Patriot Wellness Store – they come out with a few limited edition colors every Spring and Fall. They dry fast so are perfect for busy moms and little girls.
Food: We get ground beef, steak, and steak strips from the Patriot Wellness Store. We get taco shells, taco seasoning and sauce from Siete Family Foods and do tacos every Thursday. Just add some lettuce, diced tomato and cheese. Their tortillas are also good with the steak strips for fajitas and the enchilada sauce and ground beef is great, too! And, you can get their refried beans and make nachos. We do steaks and potatoes one night a week, as well. Go with organic and grass fed on butter and sour cream, if it’s an option, typically there will be a local brand in most stores. We use Tillamook for cheese.
We also get two boxes of the organic popcorn every month, which makes for a great snack for our whole family. My husband loves the mint chocolate access bars and the double chocolate protein bars, so I make sure those are stocked. I also love using their proteins mixed into whole milk organic yogurt (a local brand or Alexandre Family Farms or Fage). The caramel brulee GC control is especially good mixed in with some chocolate chips, and the chocolate proflex tastes like chocolate mousse if mixed in with more protein and less yogurt.
Search for “local grocery delivery” or “farm delivery near me” or go to a farmers market and talk to the vendors–you can often find a raw milk source or great way to get organic vegetables this way. As far as stores go: Publix, WinCo, Trader Joe’s, Randalls, Kroger, Aldi…. Those are what I’d go with, in order:)
Some of our other groceries include:
- One Degree Organics puffed rice cereal
- NOKA smoothies
- Lorissa’s Kitchen Beef Jerky
- Texas Best Organic Rice
- Crunchmaster Crackers
- Catalina Crunch Cinnamon Toast Keto Cereal
- Perdue Simply Smart Organics Gluten Free Chicken Nuggets
- Hoosier Hill Farm Big Daddy Mac N Cheese Mix
- Feel Good Foods and Amy’s Organic variety of frozen meals that we use for both side dishes and backup meals.
- Go Supernatural Sprinkles (a few of these make yogurt way more fun!)
- Redmond’s Real Salt
- Beans from GOYA foods (soups) or Green Valley. If you haven’t had chocolate hummus, it’s a must have: just blend garbonzo beans, water or olive oil, and chocolate protein powder. To make it a darker cocoa, add cocoa powder. I get ours from Endangered Species chocolate.
- YumEarth Candy
Other:
- Feminine Care: Garnuu or PixieCup, FEMM or Made for this Birth tracking apps
- Clothes: So many options!! Checkout the Clothes highlights on my instagram page. We really love resale for kids, too! They go through them so quick. Checkout a local Kid to Kid or online HandMeUp shop.
- Baby Items: I put together a mock registry full of good items from good list brands and stores.
- Bible Highlighters: DiverseBee
- Crafts and School Supplies: Rainbow Resource, Hobby Lobby
